About MOLR

My journey in pigeon racing started in 1993.

It's been a few years since my break-through win at the Croydon Club. I was 18 years old at the time, and a Junior Member. I won the Young Bird Derby, Young Bird Averages, and Combined Averages all in the same season. I'll never forget that feeling. After all the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice, it was all worth it. I'm forever thankful for the Croydon Club, and I'm proud to have been a part of it. I owe my success to them, and to everyone who has supported me along the way.

I first started racing pigeons in the late 90s and joined the VHA in 2000. I was motivated to succeed by my passion of the sport and by 2002, I had produced a number of strong Fed results.

In 2002, I won my first Fed race and was very proud of the achievement. After that, I won a few smaller races, but nothing major. But then, in 2004, I won a very hard Fed, the Mildura 300 mile. It was a huge accomplishment for me and really motivated me to keep racing. After winning the Mildura 300 mile, I took a break for a few years to focus on breeding. I purchased some of the top pigeons I could get my hands on like Gaby, Houben & Florengels. I used these birds to create a very successful breeding program and set myself up for success with my racing loft. Looking back, that win at the Mildura 300 mile was a major turning point in my racing career. It gave me the confidence to keep going, and I'm glad I did..!

After a particularly intense return, I made the decision to start One Loft Race in the year 2020. Since then, I have been managing Meadow One Loft Race and have developed a strong expertise in caring for our pigeons, our community pigeons, which is where my heart lies.

One of the delights of my job is welcoming the entire Australian pigeon community to the final race event at Meadow One Loft Race every year. Pigeon Flyers are brought together in this environment where everyone who participates is encouraged to stand together as one and has a great desire to win the Meadow One Loft Race.
